2. Video, Image, and Motion Data
When you use motion-analysis features, we may capture or process video and images to evaluate functional movement.
We do not perform facial recognition, identity matching, or biometric identification. Motion landmarks and related measurements are used to generate functional and performance metrics.
Raw videos or images may be stored securely when necessary for platform functionality, troubleshooting, user review, or features that you request.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide motion analysis, scoring, assessment, and progress-tracking features
- Provide session history, diary, community, messaging, and support features
- Generate voluntary leaderboard rankings when enabled
- Improve platform reliability, AI performance, and user experience
- Protect users, maintain security, prevent fraud, and investigate misuse
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests
4. AI and Third-Party Processing
We may use third-party cloud infrastructure, analytics providers, communication providers, and artificial intelligence services to process information needed to operate the platform.
Such providers may process information only for authorized services and subject to applicable contractual, security, and legal requirements.
AI-assisted outputs may be estimates and should not be used as the sole basis for medical or clinical decisions.
5. Data Retention
- Account data may be retained while your account remains active
- Processed motion metrics and progress records may be retained until deleted or until no longer needed
- Raw videos, images, and audio may be retained for operational purposes and may be deleted periodically
- Certain records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance
You may request deletion of eligible information at any time. Some information may remain in backups or be retained when required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.
6. Leaderboards and Public Display
If you voluntarily participate in leaderboard, community, or public-profile features, your chosen name, username, profile image, content, or performance score may be displayed to other users or the public.
Participation in optional public features may be disabled through the relevant account or feature settings when available.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal or health-related information.
We may share limited information with service providers that support hosting, storage, analytics, communications, security, payment processing, customer support, or other platform operations.
We may also share information when you direct or authorize us to do so, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, EpicWide, AgainAbility, or others.

- Withdraw sharing permissions where applicable
- Opt out of voluntary leaderboard or public-display features
- Stop using optional camera, microphone, motion, or community features
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No online system, transmission method, or storage technology is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
AgainAbility is not intended for children under 13 without appropriate parental or legal-guardian consent.
If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete or otherwise address that information.
11. International Processing
Information may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where EpicWide or its service providers operate.
When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing and transfers.
12. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, practices, or legal obligations.
The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the services after an update is subject to the revised policy.
